Frontier Behavioral Health’s services are designed to meet the needs of adults, youth and elders who are dealing with a wide range of mental health and emotional issues including individuals who are also impacted by substance use disorders. We are committed to having a positive impact on the lives of those we serve, and in so doing contribute to the health, safety, and quality of life in our communities.
Our professional, compassionate staff actively partner with those we serve in the treatment process, drawing upon their strengths and involving family members and other support persons when possible. In most service areas our team of committed providers includes a Peer Support Specialist who is living with a mental illness and has received specialized training in assisting others in their treatment.
Our treatment approach is focused on each individual’s unique circumstances and recovery goals. We recognize the prevalence of trauma in the lives of those we serve and have incorporated the principles of Trauma-Informed Care into the evidence-based treatment practices we provide. As a trauma-informed organization, Frontier Behavioral Health understands, recognizes and responds to the effects of all types of trauma. Trauma-Informed Care also emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety, and helps survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.
While mental illness affects each person differently, we firmly believe with appropriate treatment individuals can lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, and we consider it an honor and a privilege to assist them in their journey.
