Making a referral for an initial assessment:
Frontier Behavioral Health’s Access to Care uses an open access intake model to offer assessments on a walk-in basis with no appointment necessary Monday-Friday at the Mary Higgins Building, 107 S. Division. Individuals are provided with a pre-screen and a financial eligibility screen upon arrival, followed by an initial assessment with a trained intake clinician. Individuals who qualify for further clinical services at FBH will be given an appointment time with an assigned clinician.
PLEASE NOTE: Intakes are conducted from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Because of our open access model, Frontier Behavioral Health does not currently contact clients based on a referral call from a provider. Instead, providers may direct individuals to Access to Care at 107 S. Division, or instruct them to call (509) 838-4651 for more information.
If an individual in need of services is currently in your office, providers may assist them by making the call to (509) 838-4651 directly.
If an individual in your office is in crisis, our First Call for Help hotline can be reached at (509) 838-4428.
We look forward to working with you.
