Supported Employment

Supported Employment Specialists help individuals return to and maintain employment. The program focuses on rapid job searches rather than lengthy assessments and believes that no one should be excluded from employment based on a diagnosis, symptoms or history.

Supported Employment Specialists help

  • Identify vocational goals including completing education
  • Create Job Search plans
  • Identify potential employers
  • Provide on-the-job support once employed
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals and others

To be eligible individuals must have

  • Medicaid
  • A behavioral health diagnosis, substance use disorder, or need help with Activities of Daily Living
  • Demonstrate that this need is a barrier to employment
