The Kinship Navigator Program, funded by Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington, serves as a one-stop resource for kinship caregivers and is especially helpful for those who are already financially stretched.

The role of the Kinship Navigator is to help caregivers:

• Navigate government systems
• Gain information
• Receive support
• Locate resources
• Reduce or eliminate barriers to care
• Avoid costly crisis and emergency services
• Maintain family cohesiveness
