Involuntary Treatment ACT (ITA) Court Evaluation Services
Frontier Behavioral Health psychologists and master's-level clinicians provide legally mandated court evaluation services to ensure that individuals who have been detained under the Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) meet legal requirements associated with the ITA process. Individuals must be a danger to themselves, others, and/or gravely disabled, and their condition must be attributable to a diagnosed mental illness and/or substance use disorder. Staff work with detained individuals, their families, medical staff, Evaluation and Treatment staff, Designated Crisis Responders, and other community providers and private sector clinicians to obtain information relevant to the ITA process.
