Voices of Recovery

Everyone has a story to tell about recovery. Every year we showcase many of these deeply personal expressions of joy, sorrow, courage and hope in our annual Voices of Recovery Calendar, which features the artwork and writing of our clients. In sharing some of these thoughts and images with you, we hope to raise awareness about mental illness and reduce stigma. More importantly, we hope to inspire purpose and hope for those that we serve.

What Recovery Means to Me

"As a person who now has permanent disabilities, recovery for me is really a journey of discovery. I will never fully recover, but find new ways to be with myself with confidence and faith and without fear of judgment from others."
